I have always been passionate about Halloween, and my goal has always been to use practical, budget-friendly, and reusable pieces to turn into a costume. I decided to turn that passion into a blog and this is the result. For your convenience, I've sorted out the guides based on different criteria you may be looking for - whether you're planning to dress up as a character of a movie, TV show, book, etc. or you're going to a costume party as a couple, BFF, big group, or you'd like an ode to the 80s, 90s, etc. I have also created labeled image guides and recommended items to help you along your costume hunting process.
What's your dream vacation? I would LOVE to go back to Japan! I'd go to Harajuku to witness their eclectic fashion and even try dressing up, too! Then I'd visit their more historical places in Kyoto, and spend some time with nature at Hokkaido. Of course, in every step of the way, I would be eating all the delicious food they have to offer (drooling as I write this)
What's your favorite quote? My favorite quote: "If you settle for just anything, you’ll never know what you’re truly worthy of". I don't know who said it, I just saw it on the Internet, but it really stuck with me. It's my constant challenge to really do my best and push myself!
Ice cream or frozen yogurt? Mmmmmm... Actually the sad thing is I always have an upset tummy so I rarely get to eat either :( I do love yogurt though (not the frozen kind, the smooth kind) and at least it's more stomach-friendly.
Geekphoria
Geekphoria is how Amanda, a life-long geek, shares her love of video games, cosplay, fantasy, sci-fi, and crafting with the rest of Geekdom. Ice cream or frozen yogurt? Despite the fact I am lactose intolerant... so all Vegan Ice creams/frozen treats all the way! My favorite being the Chocolate Almond Dream Bites, so addictive! Although Vegan Gelato is a very close second.
