I've had a lot of people think I am appropriating, and others don't. Especially on Tumblr, but the SJWs over there can be outrageous, for instance making fun of someone for 'making herself look Asian' with make up... who ended up being an Asian lady simply wearing. make up. I focus mainly on Japanese, Scandinavian and Hindu culture, personally. Swedish and Finnish is in my blood, but the others aren't. They're part of my personal life, and in my heart, and to me that is what counts. Hopefully I don't offend people. I just do what I do, love what I love and respect what I love.

I LOVED that South Park episode!!! So good.

I totally agree, I think being respectful is important! Always listen to those who are in the culture you're inspired by to make sure you're being respectful :)

The appropriation link is so stinking important. I'm not exactly sure how people can't try to empathize, nor, understand why things could be seen as offensive. Especially the glaringly offensive.
