Sometime last year, a friend of mine told me about Diamond Candles. I was just getting into burning candles while I worked, blogged, did homework, or meditated because for me, it sets a certain mood. Once you've lit a candle, it's a signal to your brain that now is time to focus and get stuff done.

I love surprises, so burning your candle and waiting to be able to see what ring you get is just too much fun! In addition, each candle is made with quality, eco-friendly 100% soy wax. They're even hip to social media -- I love their cleverly themed Pinterest boards and seeing what rings other people have gotten!
Around holiday time, I ordered my ordered my first two candles -- one for me, one for a Christmas gift. I was creating a gift set of peppermint and candy cane-flavored goodies for a friend, so I ordered the Candy Cane candle, and it was a huge hit! I chose Vanilla Cream for myself and loved it just as much. Even if your ring isn't worth much money-wise, they are usually pretty cute and the process of waiting to see what you get is the best part.
Fast forward a few months -- the kind folks at Diamond Candles offered to send me a candle for review! Since it's summer, I picked the Pomegranate Lemonade scent, which fills our entire house with a sweet lemony scent and makes me want to run out and find a lemonade stand. Yum! I also love the sunny yellow color, which brightens up the entire room. It doesn't really smell like pomegranate, but just really sugary lemon.
And when it came time to claim my ring...
I loved the ring I got this time around! It's still not one of the more valuable rings (you can tell if it has engraving on the inside), but it's cute and I'll probably wear it a lot.
